Latitude 16 Organic Gin Wins 2026 Good Design Award
Latitude 16 Organic Gin (L16) has been recognised in the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards, Australia’s longest-running international design awards, for excellence in design, innovation and impact.
This year’s Awards are presented under the theme Design that Leads – celebrating the critical role of design in navigating complexity, driving innovation and creating positive change.
At a time of unprecedented social, environmental and technological change, this year’s theme recognises that good design is more than an outcome, it is a powerful way of thinking, imagining and acting. It challenges us to question what is, envision what could be and design better products, services, places and systems for people and planet.
Among this year’s Award Winners is Latitude 16 Organic Gin (L16), which received a prestigious 2026 Australian Good Design Award Winner in the Communication Design Print and Packaging category.

Jury Comments:
“The Jury recognises Latitude 16 Organic Gin for its distinctive and well-resolved bottle design that creates a strong sense of place and provenance. The tactile, CAD-generated surface topography and blue-green glass melt work together to evoke the optical behaviour of shallow tidal water over coral sand, transporting the drinker to a specific location on the Great Barrier Reef. The Jury commends the thoughtful design that functions as both a premium spirits vessel and a repurposable water bottle, adding a meaningful environmental dimension while securing impressive critical recognition and premium retail placement for a debut release.”
